Hello, beautiful humans.
I’ve long debated on whether I should channel my thoughts, feelings, ideas, emotions into a blog. It’s taken me this long to get here because, well, I didn’t think I could organize my thoughts into one “genre” of a blog. But… then I thought – why do I have to?
My name is Natalie. I’m 24 years old, which very much makes me a “millennial.” In 2014, I met the love of my life. Throughout our first year of life together, we owned about 10 reptiles collectively, and fostered about 40 dogs/cats (but not simultaneously… phew!) We now co-parent three fur babies whom we love so very much. In 2015, we decided to make a human baby. While sex-ed and all teen movies explained “don’t have sex unless you want to end up pregnant,” fate giggled and threw us a curveball. Follow along if you want to know more about infertility, IVF, and all things marriage and relationships. Throughout this journey, my ultimate goal is to remind you beautiful humans that you’re not alone. While this journey ultimately sucks, for lack of a better term, it’s allowed me to encounter so many beautiful souls along the way. It’s given me such a different outlook on life. Outside of infertility, I may share my millennial love for all things pink, florals, organics, hipster fashion, and fake plants. I sincerely apologize in advance.
